Director Selvaraghavan wants to take up a project that several top directors and actors wanted to but eventually failed. Yes, Selva has said that he wants to direct Ponniyin Selvan, the celebrated novel by Kalki.
The director also has the star cast in mind for this film. He revealed that Jiiva would be suitable to play Vanthiyathevan, Arya can be portrayed as Adithya Karikalan, Vikram as Raja Raja Cholan while Kajal Agarwal would be convincing as Kundhavai and Nayanthara as Nandhini.
Though this star cast looks impressive, it needs to be seen if Selva can pull off this project. |
