| What Ilayaraja doesn’t like |

Maestro Ilayaraja said in a recent book launch function that he doesn’t like people praising him for his music. The music composer, who has proved time and again that he is a class apart, said that he is forced to sit through functions were people shower their praises on him.
Ilayaraja said that all that he has been doing so long shows the love he has for music and hence there is no need to praise him.
It may be mentioned here two of Ilayaraja’s books, Paal Nila Paathai and Enakku Edhuvo Unakkum Adhuve, were released recently and it was on this occasion that he had made this speech. |
