மறைந்த எழுத்தாளர் பாலகுமாரன் அவர்களுக்கு நடிகர் சிவகுமார் இறுதி மரியாதை செலுத்தினார்
மறைந்த எழுத்தாளர் பாலகுமாரனை பற்றி நடிகர் சிவகுமார் பேசியது :-
பாலகுமாரனின் எழுத்துக்களுக்கு முழுவதும் அடிப்படையே அவருடைய அம்மா என்று தான் சொல்ல வேண்டும். நடுத்தர வர்க்கத்து பெண்களின் வலிகள் வேதனைகள். சமூகம் எப்படி பெண்களுக்கு இரண்டாம் தர இடத்தை தந்துள்ளது என்பதை தெளிவாக எழுதக்கூடியவர் பால குமாரன். 150 நாவல்கள் எழுதுவது என்பது சாதாரணமான ஒன்று அல்ல. சினிமா மீது அவருக்கு முதலிலிருந்தே ஒரு காதல் இருந்தது. பாலகுமாரன் எழுத்துக்களுக்கு விகடன் மற்றும் கல்கி போன்ற பத்திரிகைகள் மிகப்பெரிய உதவியாக இருந்தது. இதற்குத்தானே ஆசைப்பட்டாய் பாலகுமாரா என்ற ஒரு தொடரையும் பிரபல பத்திரிகைக்கு அவர் எழுதியுள்ளார். கமல்ஹாசனின் நெருங்கிய நண்பர் இவர். அவருடைய நாயகன் மற்றும் குணா படங்களுக்கு இவர் தான் திரைக்கதை வசனம். காதலன் , ஜென்டில்மேன் , ஜீன்ஸ் போன்ற பெரிய அளவில் ஓடிய படங்களுக்கு இவர் தன்னுடைய எழுத்துக்களை அர்பணித்துள்ளார். பாலகுமாரனுக்கு 45 வயதில் தான் ஆன்மிக ஆர்வம் வந்தது. அப்போது திருவண்ணாமலைக்கு செல்ல ஆரம்பித்த அவர் அதன் பின்னர் ஆன்மீகத்திலேயே பயணிக்க ஆரம்பித்துவிட்டார். அதன் பின்னர் பட்டினத்தார் பாடல்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் தொகுத்து ஆன்மீக நூல் ஒன்றை எழுதியுள்ளார். என்னை பொறுத்த வரை பாலகுமாரன் முழுவதுமாக வாழ்ந்துவிட்டார் என்று தான் சொல்ல வேண்டும். அவருக்கு மனைவி உண்டு , காதல் மனைவி உண்டு. சூர்யா மற்றும் கௌரி என்று இரு குழந்தையும் உண்டு. அவரை முழுமையாக வாழ்ந்த மனிதராக தான் நான் பார்க்கிறேன். சித்தர்களின் வார்த்தைகள் படி ஆன்மா மட்டுமே நிரந்தரம். அவருடைய ஆன்மா சாந்தியடைய இறைவனை பிராத்திக்கிறேன் என்றார் நடிகர் சிவகுமார்.

பாலகுமாரன் அய்யா அவர்களை என்னுடைய முதல் பட செட்டில் வைத்து தான் முதன் முதலாக சந்தித்தேன். அப்போது தான் இலக்கியம் எனக்கு பரிட்சயமான சமயம். நிறைய புத்தங்கங்களை படித்துக்கொண்டு இருந்த போது பாலகுமாரன் அவர்களின் புத்தகங்களையும் படித்தேன். மனித உணர்வுகளை மிகவும் ஆழமாக கூறிய எழுத்தாளர் அவர். அவர் நடிகர்களுக்காக சொன்ன விஷயம் நடிகர்கள் எவ்வளவு புத்தங்கள் படிக்கிறார்களா , எவ்வளவு மனித உறவுகள் பற்றி தெரிந்துகொள்கிறார்களோ அவ்வளவு தூரம் நல்ல நடிகராக முடியும். அவர் அன்று சொன்னதை நான் இன்றும் கடைபிடிக்கிறேன். நாயகன் படைத்தில் அவர் எழுதிய வசனத்தை நானும் பேசி நடித்துள்ளேன். அவருடைய புத்தங்கங்கள் மற்றும் நாயகன் போன்ற படங்களின் கடைசி பிரதி இருக்கும் வரையில் அவர் வாழ்ந்து கொண்டே இருப்பார். அவருடைய இழப்பு ஈடுசெய்ய முடியாதது.

நான் ஜெண்டில்மேன் படத்தில் வேலை செய்யும் போது எனக்கு எழுத்தாளர் பாலகுமாரனை தெரியும். நான் அவருடைய மிகப்பெரிய ரசிகன் இயக்குனர் ஷங்கர் , வசந்தபாலன் போன்ற இயக்குநர்கள் ஆரம்பித்து வசந்தபாலன் வரை பலருடன் அவர் இனைந்து பணியாற்றியுள்ளார். சினிமா மற்றும் இலக்கியத்தில் ஜொலிக்க கடுமையான உழைப்பு மட்டும் போதாது வெறிவேண்டும் என்று கூறியவர் அவர். ஒரு காலத்தில் சுஜாதாவும் அவரும் தான் தமிழில் மிகப்பெரிய எழுத்தாளர்கள். ஒரு வாரத்தில் 7 நாட்களும் அவருடைய கதைகள் பத்திரிக்கைகளில் வந்துள்ளது. அவருடைய ஆன்மீகமும் , எழுத்தும் மிகச்சிறந்தது. அவருடன் ஒரு படத்திலாவது பணியாற்ற வேண்டும் என்பது எனது ஆசை. அவருடைய ஆன்மா சாந்தியடைய நான் பிராத்திக்கிறேன் என்றார்.

Actor Nasser has always shared an unconditional bonding with writer Balakumaran. While paying final respects to the versatile writer, he said, “I met Balakumaran for the first time on the shooting sets of my first film. From then, we had been regularly discussing about many things. Especially, after reading his books, I would have lots to discuss with him. He would always say, “An individual becomes a better actor when he gets well versed with literature and human values. I am so happy that I got an opportunity to speak the dialogues he wrote for me in Nayagan. It doesn’t matter how many years he lived, but the pages he wrote. I am sure that till the last print of his books and last print of Nayagan exists, he will be immortal in this world and in us.”
“My dreams remain unfulfilled without working with Balakumaran sir” – Lingusamy
Director Lingusamy was one among the Kollywood celebrities, who made his final respect to writer Balakumaran. Speaking to media on this occasion, he said, “I am a huge fan of Balakumaran sir. I have always admired the way directors Vasantha Balan and Balaji Sakthivel who were assisting Shankar during ‘Gentleman’ days would tell me how engrossing his narration would be. He has seen a wide range generation of filmmakers till Selvaraghavan, which is phenomenal. Yesterday, I happened to hear him say in one of his interviews – “Everyone does hard work, but that alone wouldn’t offer success. Will Power and Passion will let them succeed.” There have been times, where all the days in a week would carry his stories in newspapers and magazines. His spirituality is immense. I am sad that my dreams remain unfulfilled without working with Balakumaran sir. May his soul Rest in Peace.”
